Raining again in Van City. I should have my photo page working later today, I'm doing a full redesign of the page. Josh moved in yesterday, and on his first night here we hopped the fence at the outdoor pool across the street and went for a midnight swim. I promise to take my camera out skating very soon, I have just been setting up my place and helping my roommate get around the city and move in. I'll keep you posted sooner than you think!

I'm taking a day off to update my website, and chill. It rained all morning so I had time to relax and nerd out. I've settled into my suite, I have two friends from Victoria coming tonight, my second roommate gets here tomorrow night, and it looks like Adam Hopkins is going to be staying with me for a bit. Dylan Rieder's new Gravis part is what's hot right now. The sun came back out, and I'm dying to skate the new Kensington Skatepark again, so I might just do that...

I am a resident of Vancouver! I don't have internet at my place yet, but I'll get on that as soon as possible. I've been skating everyday, and just finished spending the weekend in Victoria. I'm using the wireless on the ferry back to Vancouver right now, but it's terrible and keeps failing. Again, I still can't put any new photos up, but will be able to super soon, and I have a bunch so don't worry. I bought a new photo bag off my homie Jesse Taylor, and need to sell my smaller backpack now. My rent is due! I'll keep you posted as soon as I get internet again, thanks for stopping by.

My last few nights in town have all been awesome ones. I stayed up for most of the night with my best friends, and we reminisced about Terrace life. I've been working a whole lot before I leave too, but gotta make cake right? I am having troubles with the photo section of my website, and haven't been able to add new photos. I'll be redesigning my website soon so that I can continue to add photos, and make it easier to browse the photo section. While you wait, you mind as well peep Jimmy Carlin's Color Theory part on the Black Box website. Jimmy is a wild man. That's that Mrs. That's That!

I am counting down the days until I am a resident of Vancouver. I leave my life here in Terrace behind on the 18th, and make the trek to the big city. The next month is going to be very exciting though, I'll be all over the place. The night I get to Van, I'll be going to the Emerica video premiere! Stay Gold is going to be the biggest video of the year, I've been waiting for it for what seems like my entire life now. Everyone in it will blow minds. The next day, I'm taking the ferry to Victoria to skate and hang out with some friends, then on the first of September I'm off to Kelowna for a wedding. Four more days, and I bus it from Kelowna to Seattle in one day to go to Bumbershoot. After all that, I'm back to my place in Burnaby to finally get some city living done. My life is happening faster than expected... Keep it real.
August 3rd, 2010
This is the longest I've gone without a site update, but I've been so busy this last couple of weeks. I'm working non-stop at two jobs, and skating everyday. I am already paying rent at my new apartment in Burnaby, but don't move down until the end of August. My brother got assaulted by a worthless meat head the other night, but some dip shits in this town actually have nothing better to do besides pick fights. You can't build a reputation on nothing but scum, but some people try anyways. On a brighter note, my best friend Matt Lefebvre was here all week from Victoria, and we got down to business with some serious bro-ing out. Skate wise, you don't skate fast. Anthony Van Engelen skates fast. Check out this early MindField edit, some sick footage that didn't make the cut in there! Keep it real, you'll hear from me more often, I promise.

I hate Walmart. I was overcharged $17 for my film I had developed, and I was unable to persuade them to give me my money back. I wanted to see my shots pretty badly, so I just dealt with it. Last time I go to their photo centre for sure. I got my four rolls developed though, and I'm very happy with most of them. I have been shooting lots of digital too, check out all my newest shots in the photo section! Kingshit's Connect the Dots contest starts tomorrow, but Ruins still hasn't got a package we need to start yet... Hopefully we get it in the morning, because James, Ryan, Ben, Adam and myself are stoked to start shooting tomorrow! Pray for good weather.

Happy Birthday Mom! The woman who brought me to this planet was born on this day, only a few years ago. I need to buy her a present still, anyone know what mom's like? Threw up some new photos, and made an edit of long lost Joel Wood trying to switch heel the park set. I have shot two rolls of film now, waiting on the third and fourth before I develop. Enjoy some Antwaun Dixon insight, he's a real character. I better get back to work, I'm not getting paid for nothing! Later.

Skated Kitimat park yesterday with some peeps, then went to check out a handrail at the golf course. Unfortunately they were open, but we didn't drive the extra five minutes for nothing. Ryan hippie jumped some guys sick motorcycle, then we took off. It's too damn hot in town to skate, so I'm going to the lake for the day. Peep this mag minute with Issey Yumiba if you need a dose of good skating. We all do. Later!

I'm still waiting for my Pocket Wizard to get here in the mail, I had to get it repaired. Luckily I bought it for $10! I bought three rolls of 200 film to shoot, it's been too long since I've pulled out my film camera. I'm going out to shoot with Ryan and and Adam today, but you'll have to wait for the film to develop to check it out. If you haven't already, check out the Lizard King Epicly Later'd on VBS, all three parts are done. On a last note, I want to wish the best of times to homie Joel Wood, who has taken off to Nanananaimo to skate for the summer. Take care J Woo! Out.
June 28th, 2010
Gave away my shift today because of the nice weather, and I'm already working basically full time anyways. I'm going golfing, cleaning my glass, and editing some photos. Went for a shoot with half of the Inkster family, but ended up only shooting with The Kinkster (Kyle). Came out with three flicks with the groovy guy. He's back from camp for a week, so we're out shooting for the Ruins site while we can. Check out the Vox Am Team for some more retarded up and comers; It's getting really hard to be an am these days. Enough is enough, and I need to go skate again after some lunch. Later!

Working a lot lately, and enjoying the sun that Terrace rarely gets to see is filling my summer so far. Skating too, check out the new pictures. I was gifted Discovery Channel's "Life" from my girlfriend for grad, and I've been on a marathon of all the episodes. The world is amazing. Not much else to report, so check out Doin' it Baja on the VBS website, a pleasure to the eyes. That's that, Mrs. That's that.

Done and done. Well, close enough. I have English first block tomorrow, but only for exam prep. After that, I'm free from the grasp of high school forever. My friends and I figured this would be a good chance to rip up Copper Mountain at 2:00am, and return with only a few hours of sleep for the last day of real classes. I snagged a few nice photos during the drive up, along with the new home page background. Going to the lake today, but not before some pizza, of course. In skateboarding, this kid is 15 and untouchable. Young talent.
Thanks for dropping in!

Today was my very last Friday I'll ever me in school for (until post secondary of course). I got so excited I had to punch the ceiling and rain bits of dry wall on those around me. Graduation ceremony is tonight, then the dry grad after. I'm going to hustle games all night, and make off with a crap load of appliances and gift certificates. I be havin' them appliances. Not too much else to report, but here's a video that made me laugh way too hard for my own good. Later!
June 3rd, 2010
These days I'm doing nothing but going to work, school, or skating and shooting. Rushing to get all my school work done, and to graduate finally (next Friday!). No new shots to add to the photo section, I don't have any new stuff that stands out right now. Besides Gary Coleman dying, a massive sinkhole in Guatemala, and the President and Prime Ministers of Germnay and Japan resigning, my life is a bit dull at this moment. I'm making lots of coin at work though, and it will pay off in the future. I now have Google Ads on my site, feel free to aimlessly click on them, they keep the site running. Later!

May long weekend was super fun, had a great time on the Haida Gwaii Islands with the homies. Came back to Terrace, and my Skatepark Edit is on the SBC site! Big shout out to SBC media for their constant support, and getting my name on the map. Peep it here!
Back in town now, and only two weeks of grade twelve left to boot. Fastest year of my life by far, but probably the funnest too. Time to graduate, become an "adult" (whatever that means), and get my life going. I've been skating and shooting a bunch since I've been home, check the photo section for some new shots from my trip, along with some new stuff. Thanks for taking a look!
May 19th, 2010
I just spent my entire night packing, I'm heading to the Haida Gwaii Islands for May Long weekend. James Inkster, Dane Cameron, and myself are taking the ferry from Prince Rupert tomorrow, and are back in Terrace Monday evening. But don't worry, you can just watch the brand new Terrace Skatepark Edit over and over while I'm gone! I also added four recent sequences I shot with Adam and Ryan, check them out. Hope everyone has a fun May Long as well, thanks for stopping by!

Finally got my website off the ground, and I'm stoked that you're here! I've been busier than I have been in my entire life these last few months, but I still have lots of time to skate, shoot film, and work and go to school. I'll do my best to keep the site updated frequently. Had my graduation prom yesterday, one of the longest days of my life. Drove around in a 15 passenger van with all my friends, partied at a gravel pit, then made an appearance at Denny's until 4am. I'm off to our grad camp out tonight too, but not before I get to skate. Later!
I'm now a resident of Vancouver.
I made the move, and the next chapter of my life is in full swing.

I shoot skateboarding primarily, but a wide variety of photography mediums aside from it. I also film and edit very frequently as well. Skating has always been what I live for, and I'm really glad I picked up a camera three years ago and decided to pursue photography with it. I have been filming skating since the seventh grade, but not seriously until about the same time I was fully into photography. I have since made three full length skate videos, which I showcase here in my hometown of Terrace, British Columbia.
I owned a Canon Rebel XTi for the last two years, along with a Sony VX1000 for filming for the last three. I recently sold both cameras, and upgraded to the Canon 7D so that I could shoot pictures and HD video on the same camera. Two camera bags isn't fun, especially when I ride my board to every spot.
I have lots of experience editing with Photoshop CS3 and CS4, Adobe After Effects, and Pinnacle Studio, to name a few. You might say I'm a bit of a computer nerd-
no offence taken.
